Bio - Jennifer Winter

Jen is the AVP of Human Resources at Western Reserve Group (WRG), a Property & Casualty Insurance Company based in Wooster, OH, where she has served for over 3 years. Her well rounded experience includes a previous role as Vice President of Human Resources & Training at Wayne Savings Community Bank, HR Manager at LifeCare Hospice (Wooster) & Hospice of North Central Ohio (Ashland), HR Representative at Hendrickson Trailer (Canton),  and Graduate Intern at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. 

Jen is actively involved in the Ohio insurance industry, serving on the Workforce Development Committee and the Insuring Ohio’s Futures Committee. She is the President of the Wayne Area HR Association (WAHRA) and a member of the Goodwill Board’s Workforce Development Committee. Her past volunteer work includes serving on the Friends & Neighbors of OneEighty Board and the HR Committee for the Village Network. Jen has also been a member of the Wooster Noon Lions Club for over 16 years. 

Jen holds a Master of Science in Management from the University of Akron and a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University. A lifelong resident of Wooster, she lives with her son, Calvin, who is currently attending PA Graduate School at Ashland University. Her daughter, Izzy, resides in Columbus, OH, and works for the Secretary of State’s Office.
